Ronan Keating - Iris

So picture the scene….i’ve been out the night before and got pretty drunk at an engagement party, just got back from my girlfriends house and I then watch my rugby team lose in the semi final of the cup despite being clear favourites…not sure my day could get any worse.

Well yes it can because here comes a new Ronan Keating single which i’ve unwisely taken from the pile to listen to for the purposes of reviewing it. Surprise surprise it’s a cover version from the former boy band star. He has decided to butcher the Goo Goo Dolls song Iris which was released by them about eight years ago. I’ve not heard the original but it can’t be as bad as this whinesome ballad.

Just to prove that i’m not completely unfair i’ll counter balance the review by telling you that Ronan does a lot of good work for charideeee. The single is out on the 14th August and is taken from his album Bring You Home.
