Joy Zipper release a second single from The Heartlight Set on the 8th August.
The simply titled 1, is another breezy, sunshine pop single from the duo, with just a smidgeon of the trademark fuzz we’ve come to associate with them.
The gorgeous Tabitha Tindale takes a back stage this time to allow Vinny Cafiso the lead role on vocals, he delivers effortlessly on the perfect two and a half minutes of joy soaked harmony as he sings of ”...lying naked in the sun, making eyes at everyone.”
It’s not the bands strongest single to date, it is however far better than most could ever dream of writing, they just seem to have a knack of making music for people who like to smile.
