The Common Redstarts - Killing Street

Released through Seeca Records earlier this week comes the limited 7” single from Edinburgh quartet The Common Redstarts.

Killing Street is a franticly infectious track that has grown on me the more I listen to it. The guitar riffs in the first minute or so hook you into the song and the rest hurtles by in something of a post punk blur.

The b-side Angel Eyed Friend is equally as good although very different to the a-side. This time the band opt for a charming, mellow acoustic sounding track that reminds me of Noel Gallaghers early b-sides before Oasis went shit!
