Alesha - Knock Down
Taken from the forthcoming album Fired Up, this is the second single from Alesha following hot on the heels of Lipstick. It features Asher-D from So Solid Crew (but don’t let that put you off) and is probably even better than the previous single.
It starts off as if it’s going to go into a Charleston before the funk kicks in and a great guitar line that stays throughout. This really got under my skin on first listen and has stayed with me the rest of today.
A second surprise track from the former girl group chanteuse that shows a great deal of promise from her as a solo artist. The single is out now with the album following in the New Year.
