Leaves - Good Enough
Leaves return on the 15th August with a long overdue second album entitled The Angela Test.
Taken from that album is a second single, Good Enough. In truth it’s just about that. Leaves are a Scandinavian band i’ve always held in quite high regard since they burst onto the scene a few years ago with a string of glorioius singles and the uplifting Breathe album. This though sounds to me like a decent album track that has little to offer as a single.
It ticks all the right boxes, low mumbling bass, rasping vocals that soar in the right places a la Muse’s Matt Bellamy, and a decnt finale to the song as it gets a little more twisted and just a touch more offbeat.
Still after the first single The Spell and their previous track record I’m still holding out for the album to be a decent one, I just don’t see them up rooting many trees with it.

Have your say...

Just heard that the single has now been pulled from the release schedule, however the album will still be out on the 15th Aug (full review to follow).
