Broken Records - Lies
Broken Records are big tips for 2009 from a lot of people, this is the first thing i’ve heard by them and I have tro say on the strength of this i’m not seeing what everyone else does.
Lies is their third single and their is the possibilty that the other two are absolute belters, for me though it’s just lacking something, everything from the instrumentation to the singing is nice enough, I just don’t get anything to draw me back in as a hook.
Only time will tell if they live up to the hype, but for me they aren’t yet. Lies is available on ltd 7” and download.
