Alesha - Lipstick
Out of the now cooled ashes of under performing urban girl group Mystique steps the gorgeous solo star Alesha with a debut single and album to follow.
Lipstick is out this week and shows a whole heap of promise, a sassy and dirty (in musical terms) tracks that will grind you into submission within the first few listens. That’s coming from someone who didn’t care for her former group and was prepared to hate this as well.
Looks like we might have a UK talent on our hands that can at last reverse the trend of the current US female invasion of the charts. The single was out this week and the album Fired Up is due for release on 30th October.
