Long-View - Further (New Mix)
Nearly two years after it’s original release, the name changing Long-View re-release Further, albeit a slightly different mix.
Taken from from the debut album Mercury it’s souped up here with additional strings adding to the already grand and uplifting feel of the track, in particular the repetitive chorus, one that’s screaming out to be an anthem for the Coldplay / Travis masses.
The Manchester four-piece seem to be back in the ascendancy now after two sell out UK tours and heavy airplay in America. Could well be the next act to take things onto the next level as far as UK sales go in the absence of new material from Keane etc as they fall into that similar ‘safe’ sound.
