Stricken City - Lost Art
I reviewed the last Stricken City single back in July, the brilliant but strangely titled Tak O Tak. A couple of weeks ago they released the follow up to that record and it’s equally as good.
Released through Blue Flowers Records it’s another shoegazing meets art-pop single that shines with a confidence and quality that defies the fact that it’s only their second release. Lost Art again has soaring melody in the vocals from Rebekah Raa and guitar reverb to die for.
Fantastic stuff and I can’t wait to hear more from this bands in 2009.
