Underoath - Lost / In / The / Sound / Of / Seperation

As most regular readers know i’m not much of a metal head myself, I usually leave this sort of stuff to The Manager, Kanisha and Girl Meets World who pick up the rock and heavy stuff thats too much for my delicate ears. Sometimes though I make a mistake and end up keeping one to listen to, sometimes I like and more often than not I don’t!

I ended up with this Underoath CD to review because I didn’t read the press release in decent time to pass it out to someone, now i’ve been ‘stuck’ with it though i’m giving it a fair go and to my surprise I haven’t completely hated it. I’ll admit the growly vocals mean I have barely understood a word of what has been sung and musically it is all a bit similar all the way through, but their is good energy here and the drumming is great.

It’s not converted me but it has given me food for thought.
