Hopefully Loves You will open up a few more ears to the delightful sounds of Viva Voce, the fact that it has taken three full albums and still they haven’t really ‘got’ this band without them releasing this cobbled together collection of songs is criminal.

For anybody who has bought the albums and EPs then you don’t really have much to get you excited about with this release, but then this hasn’t been put together with you in mind. This is designed to usher in new fans of the band, which is why you get eight brilliant tracks at a seemingly ridiculous price (at least on Amazon anyway).

Posibly the best husband and wife partnership in music outside of The White Stripes (or whatever the hell they reckon to have been anyway). The album is out now through Full Time Hobby.
