Yep the gorgeous Gwen Stefani’s made the fatal mistake that a lot of artists (or is it record companies getting greedy on behalf of the artist?), she’s gone and released onesingle too far from her massive selling Love Angel Music Baby album.

What You Waiting For and Hollaback Girl were both fantastic pop singles, Rich Girl was a decent single, but the warning signs were there with the release of Cool as a fourth single.

Now here we are with Luxurious, a sickly sweet soul-pop track that is as light on substance as Riveta is for a main meal. Take the drippy lyrics “Your my sugar honey, sexy baby….” oh please! It features an unneccessary rap in the middle from Slim Thug and the lyric “cha-ching”, at least with that we get to the heart of the song and why it’s been released.
