Dead Wasps - Mexicola Bare Essentials
I reviewed Dead Wasps a while back now, so it was pleasing to see another single / demo drop through my door the other week, all too often you find that you review a band, like them and then never hear anything of them or from them again.
So welcome back Dead Wasps and nice to hear from you again.
That is said genuinly because again I like what they’ve produced, Mexicola Bare Essentials is a very ‘now’ sounding record, it’s got that deep electro feel to it that you know would light up a dancefloor, throw in a very pretty front lady (Hayley Wasp) and the complete package is there. This is complimented further by the deep house mix of the song that provides the b-side on here.
