Andy Stedman - Middle of the Sea
London based Andy Stedman released his debut single Middle Of The Sea on 11th August 2008, shame for me was that I hadn’t reviewed this one sooner, its been left out at the side of my bed for a few weeks but for one reason of another hadn’t got around to listening to it. As soon as I started to listen I realised I was in for a treat, loved the whole package, even the slight vocal lisp was endearing.
Good honest simple indie rock/pop without any over the top gimmicks. This track has already been featured on the official Clothes Show Live myspace page!! Andy Stedman sounds like a really nice guy if not a little over optimistic, he’s apparently a season ticket holder with QPR and reckons they’ll win the Champions League by 2012!!, hope his optimism pays off but somehow…
For me he has bags of talent and I cant wait to hear his debut album Causin’ Havoc, Breakin’ Hearts due for release some time in October.
