Los Campesinos! - My Year In Lists
I love the Los Campesinos! album as I did their early singles and when I went to see them live they didn’t let me down either, so they have a valid claim to be one of the bands of the year so far.
My Year In Lists is the latest single to be released from Hold On Now Youngster, it might not be the most immediate song they’ve released but it still has the mixture of clever lyrics, cloying charm and glockenspiel, all things that when bundled up in the Los Camp ball of energy comes out as a damn fine pop song.
It’s only 1 minute 49 seconds long so no sooner have you found yourself getting into when it’s over, but if nothing else it will be give you a craving to hear more, which should send you onwards to the album.
