The Beat Surrender

I have to give McFly a small degree of credit. They’ve stepped out from behind the comfort of the major label machine that has so far pushed them along their very successful career and have formed their own record label Super Records (I feel a trade descriptions act joke coming on).

It shows that they want to have total control over their careers including the sound and that they do want to be taken seriously in the long run. Unfortunately though a slightly new sound on One For The Radio and a host of good intentions don’t make this a better musical experience for me.

Things are still just as bad as ever from the four lads and the much lauded ‘heavier’ sound is atame step up that will still probably see the former members of Busted stood pointing at McFly and laughing at them for being soft.
