Ewan Pearson - Piece Work EP

Ewan Pearson is a DJ and producer that i’ve long since admired, while not so much for his own material, definitely for the remixes he has done for the likes of Moby, Fields, Ladytron and the three that feature on here.

The Piece Work EP is a taster for the recently released album of the same name, a two disc collection of Ewan Pearsons best remixes to date. This three tracker opens with The Chemical Brothers collaboration with Flaming Lips, with Pearson turning it into a twitching techno track, Goldfrapp are next up as we get a far more upbeat dub of their song Train and the EP is completed with the genius rework of Cortney Tidwell’s Don’t Let Stars Keep Us Tangled Up.

The album will be well worth getting your hands on from a guy that has consistently done it for almost ten years now.

It could all be so simple, but you'd rather make it hard, loving you is like a battle and we both end up with scars. -- Lauryn Hill
