Jupiter One - Platform Moon

Nobody seems to know where the bands name has come from and so far that seems to be as big a selling point of interest as anything else, which is a shame really because you rarely find out the real reason why so many bands opt for the name they do. More importantly though that deflects away from the music, which in some cases wouldn’t be a bad thing, but on hearing this single Jupiter One deserve better than that.

Platform Moon is an equally odd song title but I’m not going to get into finding out where that comes from either. All we need to know is that it’s a really good indie-pop sing with a jaunty bounce to it that suggests they have cross over appeal potential with the dance world and yet a quirky, kooky side that suggests they listened to a lot of Talking Heads records when they were young and would make excellent touring partners for a band like Grand National.
