Jon Redfern - Play of Fear

Play of Fear is written about the singers fears for mainstream culture, death of loved ones and his own mortality. All a bit arty farty to me, however if you look beyond this what you have is a lovely melodic pop track. For me very much in the style of Keane, Jon Redfern undoubtedly has a great voice, which this track shows off brilliantly.

The b-side I Love The Sun is slower almost bluesy in style, this took a little more time to grow on me but after a few plays it did……eventually.
