The Call - Push On

Proving that with a little bit of hard work and musical talent to match your ambition you can rise from out of the local scene without having to jet off to London having learnt your first code, come The Call.

Having left University in 2002 these schoolboy friends decided to concentrate on the band, they quickly conquered Ripon (In North Yorks) and have now since played gigs all over Yorkshire. They sound like they have their sights set further than just Gods own County though listening to this self financed EP.

Push On is a majestically big, guitar-pop track that oozes melody and could already be destined for status as a future hit single if major label interest is followed up on. Also on offer here you have the equally catchy tracks Alone Tonight, Let’s Keep This Quiet and You Need This Lie, all of which possess that magic ingredient in a song that you just know is going to see these lads move up a gear in 2006.

Musical life in Yorkshire just gets better and better by the week, who needs London eh?
