Jenny Lewis - Rise Up With Fists!!
Rilo Kiley front woman Jenny Lewis has really struck gold with this solo project of hers, rave reviews have flown in for the album Rabbit Fur Coat (including us here are TBS), live shows planned in the UK and the first single to be released from it now hitting the airwaves and video music channels.
No surprise though that they have chosen to release Rise Up With Fists!! as a single, from the moment I first heard it on the album it stood out a mile as a track that was crying out for release. Lewis sets the tone with her soft vocals and clever lyrics, but you can’t forget The Watson Twins beautiful gospel backing vocals after you’ve listened to it.
Both the single and album are out now….treat yourself folks.
