Willy Mason - Save Myself
One of the leading figures in the singer/songwriter explosion we have seen in the last couple of years makes a welcome return to the scene with comeback single Save Myself.
The single is taken from forthcoming second album If The Ocean Gets Rough. the indications from Save Myself are that Willy Mason may find it hard to match the success of his first album and the hit single Oxygen. While his voice is unmistakedly good, the song isn’t quite as rough sounding and the polished sheen that it gives off may be his undoing if all the album is the same.
This though is a guy who is still head and shoulders above the rest of his peers especially in the live environment.
The single is out now on Virgin.
