The Chemists - Something For The Weekend

The Chemists take their name from the fact that they all lived together at one point above a chemist shop in their local high street, the Bristol outfit have a debut album due for release next year and proceed that with a new single through Distiller Records which is out now.

Something For The Weekend is a decent enough track, on the grungy side but with a catchy chorus, I actually prefer the b-side Tazmanian Devil as a track myself, either way it’s a promising offering that at least marks them down as a band to keep an eye out for, particularly with up and coming support slots with both Feeder and The Music.
