Girls Aloud have always been as much about style and glamour as they have their music, if it isn’t Sarah falling out of a club drunk, Nadine shopping in America or Cheryl on the arm of her husband Ashley Cole, you can always be sure the girls will be sporting the latest fashions and trends.

So no surprise in the title of their latest DVD, Style though is a rather strange watch for a band that despite predominantly having a teenage girl following, also appeal to a wider cross section of music fans as well. So yes I can see 10 year old Chelsea and 12 year Britney watching this once and enjoying hearing the girls giving them tips that they can then aspire to, but is it something that they’ll really watch time and again?

On a personal level the girls come across quite well, they don’t seem too up themselves and are quite happy to shop on the high street rather than relying on designer handouts, the only person who doesn’t come out of it too well is Nadine Coyle who seems so vain it’s untrue.

The one thing that does save the dvd though is the fact that all the girls promo videos are included, this at least gives you something that as a fan that you would come back to and you can’t help but tap your foot along to tracks like Sound Of The Underground, Biology, Love Machine and No Good Advice.
