Love Ends Disaster - Suzanne/Dinosaur

Five piece formed in Nottingham, this is there second single release, previous single Ladders was released in March 2007 and found favour with BBC1, Hew Stevens and Colin Murray.

First a-side Suzanne has a jolly pop sound reminded me a little of the Arctic Monkeys with different vocals. This seemed to have a really good commercial sound, bounces along to great guitars and nice harmonising vocals. If this gets airplay, it could really take off as it won’t offend many people and could appeal to lots.

Dinosaur is again quite bright and bouncy with a slightly more punk sound, according to the promo material it is an expression of respect and reverence for Elton John (yeah sure it is)
Really liked this one of the better promo’s I’ve listened to in 2007 would make my top 20 easily. This is another band I will be looking out for in 2008 and if I get the chance would love to see them live.
