Sisters Of Transistors - The Don / Pendulum
Graham Massey of 808 State fame is the production wizard behind Sisters Of Transistors, so it’s no surprise that the production is gleaming on both tracks.
The group themselves are made up of four girls who all play transistor organs, The Don is a sumptuous track that takes on an almost gothic disco feel, a real different sound to anything that I’ve heard recently.
Second track Pendulum isn’t quite as impressive as it comes over as more of a droning groove, but still a decent enough track. Keep your ears out for these ladies, with Massey at the controls it could be an exciting ride.
