The Flies - The Flies
The Flies are a band that we have been behind since they formed over two years ago now. So it’s a little bit of a disappointment that they have released a fairly cobbled together collection of tracks as a stop gap between the previous releases and the full, finshed debut album.
Tracks like Ruby Tuesday and The Lord Of Flies have been made available previously. The afore mentioned track is a bizarre cover of a classic track, they don’t pull off that one and the same could be said of some of the more ballady tracks. The one area they do shine though is when they head into Spagheti Western stand off music on Harmonica, a beautiful sweeping instrumental complete with tumbleweed!
The album in keeping with other releases will be available as a download only from the 4th June.

The only track on this release that has been previously available is One Less Heart Beats as the b-side of We Began.
Both the cover & Lord Of The Flies are previously unavailable.
