Annie - The Wedding
Everything about Annie is made up to be a pop star, she’s got the voice, she’s certainly got the model looks and more importantly she also has the songs to back it up as her album proved last year.
Not only is she a talented singer though, no Annie can also kick it as a DJ in her own right. She’s been hot footing it around the globe recently, touring with her band as well as popping up here and there to DJ, in and amongst that she’s also found the time to compile the latest DJ Kicks album which this track is taken from.
The Wedding is a brand new single from her, despite being influenced by 80’s music and we are talking early eighties music here, it’s not got that cheese factor to it, if anything it has more of an acid vibe to it. The remix here is worth checking out as well as Annie drafts in Oslo residents Lindstrom and Prins Thomas, who provide a deeper and darker remix.
Both the single and the album are out now.
