Kidda - The Word Booty EP
Catskills were quite possibly my label of last year thanks to several cracking album releases from the likes of Black Grass and Husky Rescue as well as a fantastic debut EP called ‘Shoe Cash EP’ which came courtesy of Kidda.
Well true to form Kidda and Catskills have returned in 2005 with the ‘Word Booty EP’. Opting for more soulful funky hip hop than the last outing with tracks like ‘All I Need’ and ‘Hold Me’ being highlights.
Any fans of the Tru Thoughts record label will also be pleased to know that included here is a cracking mix from the up and coming Diesler, who adds weight to a remix of ‘Real Good Thing’.
Out now on CD and 12”.
