Mothra - Tidal Wave
This is an experimental track with dual vocals (male and female) and a fascinating reverse echo effect running throughout. This begins with the drum loop then is followed up in the singing. The male singer’s voice falls a bit flat; he seems to be talking some of the lyrics in parts. Whether this is through design or inexperience is unclear from just hearing the one song, however it is more than made up by the female songstress. It’s a nice, if a little odd, duet with an interesting sound to it, combining music, complexity and originality. I’m not so sure what it’s about, though.
The single is taken from the forthcoming album Zephyria which is released on the 28th November through Junkbait Music Ltd.
