Sara Lowes - Tomorrows Laughter

Sara Lowes has had a superb grounding musically and has also had great experience in playing with The Earlies, Micah P Hinson, Jim Noir and King Creosote.

As much as she’s obviously enjoyed the experience of playing with these artists, it’s evident from listening to Tomorrows Laughter that Sara Lowes has enough about her to step out on her own as a successful solo artist, the playing is impeccable and the vocals warm and confident.

I Wish opens proceedings brilliantly, Uniform Days is a steady, gentle paced track, Tomorrows Laughter is an epic effort that starts with an almost Irish influence, it then builds into a real jaunty show stealer before finishing with a grand choral feel.

Down And Round and the beautiful Evening Prayer finish proceedings well, before those though you have the rolling piano Down And Out which is another fantastic track.

Excting times ahead for this young lady if this mini album is anything to go by.
