Test Icicles - Totally Re-F***ked
Test Icicles were a surprising package last year, combining elements of dance music, with rock, at times pop but mainly a punk element, the album received some great reviews and live shows always had something to keep people talking about them.
This limited edition release sees the band getting their tracks Boa vs Python and Catch It! whipped into a grime frenzy thanks to contributions from Lethal Bizzle, Fumin 2Face, Ozzie B, Knowledge, Scary Whizzkid, Statik and Ruff Sqwad.
The respective tracks are mixed by Statik and Jitset and for such a strange mash up do work surprisingly well. At worst its something to play to scare the neighbours, at best and in odd moments when it really comes together it makes you wonder why we don’t get more cross genre activity.
Totally Re-F***ked is out now on limited edition 7” and 12”.
