Rosabella Gregory - Uncovered EP
Rosabella Gregory introduces us to her dynamic piano and vocal sound with the six track Uncovered EP, mixing up folk, classical and jazz influences across a generally enjoyable EP.
Her songs are striking lyrically as she tends to write from a third prsdon perspective with her own views and emotions creeping into a situation that may be out of the ordinary for her, a prime example being Under The Rubble which looks atan entire family killed in the Iraq war by a bomb.
She doesn’t hit the spot everytime here, a couple of the tracks meander to nothing, but overall there seems to be a lot of potential in a young lady who seems part Alicia Keys part Kate Bush.
