Imajim - We Are Speakers EP
Imajim are a badly named band, that seem to be making a real name for themselves on the London gig circuit, with a live show that has to be seen to be believed.
We Are Speakers is the just released EP from the band and it’s a corker, four tracks of indie meets lo-fi rock, with two real highlights for me that I keep coming back to.
The first is the opener Aqualuna, it has a haunting ethereal feel to it that leaves you feeling almost creeped out, the second is Thunked Up which reminds me of a slow motion collision between Elbow and Queens Of The Stone Age and that’s certainly not a bad thing.
