Wiley - Wearing My Rolex

Wiley is a talented guy who has done as much as anybody to kick off the ‘grime scene’ in the UK, he is though something of musical chameleon, being a rapper, producer and spreading his genres between grime, hip-hop and on this track a sort of electro-house meets grime.

Wearing My Rolex is a massive hit alreadyand has been sat comfortably in the top ten for a number of weeks now, it’s easy to see why as it is naggingly catchy, it’s got a beat to it that does get under your skin. It does lack his trademark edge that a pop sheen has given this track, in that sense it will probably be a fairly disposable song. In the long run though it should give him a greater audience for his music which can only be a good thing.
