Rosalita - What Would Your Mother Say EP
Based on this EP I can’t believe Rosalita aren’t massive, this is a storming three track EP that see’s this Ipswich band stepping up to the plate and saying “you need to take us serious, because we are having it”.
It opens with the brilliant (it should be a hit) title track What Would Your Mother Say, a song that reminds me in so many ways of Caught By The Fuzz era Supergrass. If You Can’t Dance is a solid enough effort but is overshadowed by the exceptionally catchy Way Past Bedtime, which had my foot tapping away ten to the dozen as I listened to it.
One of the best new acts i’ve heard this year so far, more please!
