Findlay Napier & The Bar Room Mountaineers - When Harry Met Charlie

Findlay Napier has a big reputation on the folk scene and is back here with a new sngle on which he’s joined by his band The Bar Room Mountaineers.

When Harry Met Charlie for all it’s song writing team behind it, fine musicians involved and Napier’s decent vocal…is dull. No matter how you dress it up and no matter how many trimes I listen to it, it’s just lacking something of interest for me to recommend it.

They try to liven things up on the b-sides with a couple of different ixes. Unfortunately the Out All Night track doesn’t really work as a dub version and The Original Queen Anne’s Revenge Version of the single is also disappointing.
