We Are Physics - You Can Do Athletics, BTW
Glasgow band We Are The Physics first crossed my path last year when they were third on the bill supporting someone at The Cockpit in Leeds. On the night they were a decent enough support band, they showed they had something about them without really blowing me away.
The single You Can Do Athletics, BTW proceeds the release of the bands debut album We Are The Physics Are OK At Music, through This Is Fake DIY Records this week.
I have to say the album title sums thenm up brilliantly at the moment, they are young lads who are still learning and as such they do just seem to be OK. The single sounds like a wet behind the ears kind of Young Knives, they do have some nice punk touches in the song and the stop start rhythm is good.
