Jack McManus - You Think I Don’t Care

Jack McManus has been on the road with Sam Sparro and Amy MacDonald recently, so it’s gair to say his profile has risen sharply in the last few months. This is probably in part to do with the clout that his label (Polydor Records) have, rather than the modest success of his debut album Either Side Of Midnight.

The 23 year old releases his second single, the piano led You Think I Don’t Care to coincide with his dates with John Mayer that have just passed and his appearance at T In The Park, Oxygen and forthcoming V Festival. Despite some nice melody it’s not the strongest track you’ll hear either musically or vocally and as with a lot of the album does have a fairly inoffensive blandness to it.
