The Beat Surrender

Liam Frost has taken weight loss to the extreme. Not only has he slimmed down from the overweight singer/songwriter we knew him as, to this polioshed and buff pin up that he looks set to be, but he’s also shaken off the excess baggage of a backing band on his latest album (out last year).

The latest single from him is taken from that album and like with a lot of diets, he’s found himself pilling the weight back on by bringing Martha Wainwright in to guest on the track Your Hand In Mine.

Fortunately for him though it’s a treat that doesn’t backfire on him, the single is possibly the most upbeat and brilliant pop moment of his career and it’s just unfortunate that they didn’t wait until nearer Valentine’s day to release this sumptuous effort.
