Primal Scream Look To A Beautiful Future
Primal Scream are back with album number nine and also grace our front cover for the very first time in issue 51. Beautiful Future is the album and you’ll find a full review of it inside this issue.
Elsewhere on the album review front we check out stoner-rockers Minus, CSS follow up their 2006 debut with the release of Donkey their sophomore effort, Black Kids and The Tunics haven’t made it to that stage in their careers yet, but they have both released very contrasting debut albums. I won’t spoil the surprise as to which is the belter and which has left us disappointed.
Live wise we’ve been out and about checking out The Music at their big homecoming gig, supported by Exit Calm, last issues cover stars The Sugars celebrate the launch of their album at the Hi Fi Club in Leeds and Paul Heaton was at The Cockpit along with his pot bellied crowd!
We have a brilliant interview with Karen David who will hopefully be releasing her debut album this year, a feature from The Manager who takes his anger out on Nickelback and to balance out the hate, Bantam continues his series of sharing what he loves by waxing lyrical about Early 90’s Dance music.
