Time To Treasure The Kabeedies!
Every so often I stumble across a brilliant young band who blow me away, it’s par for the course obviously as I am running a music website after all, but not everyone of these bands leaves quite the same impression on me after just a couple of limited releases.
I love The Kabeedies though, it’s early days and we are trying to take it steady, sometimes you can rush into these musical relationships after all, so I thought i’d catch up with them to delve a little bit more into what makes them tick and see if they were right for me, you can read the interview with our cover stars inside this issue. The answer by the way is yes. Judge for yourself though when they release their new single Treasure Hunting shortly.
I’ve also caught up with Stephen John Kalinich in the last few days, a really interesting character who recorded his lost album with Brian Wilson, it’s finally getting a release, he never doubted it of course even 39 years later!
We have two features for you this issue, Bantam talks about ladies, music and a bit more about ladies, don’t worry it does tie into music I promise you, we haven’t turned into a lads mag (too much). The other feature is a look at New Orders first five albums which have just been given a reissue in the last week.
