Two Can Play That Game…Again!
First off, yes I know the new issue is a day late, i’m sorry but a hangover following our 5th Anniversary celebrations got the better of me. Thank you though to everyone that came down to a packed out Milo in Leeds to help us celebrate in style and especially nice to see some old faces from when we first started out five years ago.
In 2006 Isobel Campbell and Mark Lanegan teamed up to produce one of the best albums by a duo we’ve ever heard. Well good news folks, they’ve only gone and done it again haven’t they! In honour of them conquering that difficult second album we’ve made them the cover stars for issue 46.
Elsewhere in the issue we have live reviews of Envy & Other Sins, Voodoo Six and Danava, albums by The Charlatans, Story Of The Year and Half Man Half Biscuit are given the once over and we have an interview with My Federation fresh off their support tour with James.
The issue is completed with a feature that asks the question Will Downloads Kill The Art Of Cover Design? I’m sure you’ve got your own opinion on this, so feel free to leave us a comment with your own views on the subject.
Right…paracetamol, bed and some much needed sleep is calling!
