Flying Towards 2009!

I can’t believe it’s already coming towards the end of 2008 as I type this, this year more than any other seems to have really flown by and especially in music.

On a flying theme our cover artists this issue are The Aeroplanes who have just released their debut album, there is a full review of it inside, see how it fares along with a review of the Fortuna Pop! Compilation Be True To Your School.

Live wise we have reviews of the legendary Wedding Present in their hometown of Leeds, The Pigeon Detectives in the same city and Slipknot who are a bit further down the M1 in Sheffield.

Features wise we have a great article about Music being in crisis and we wrap up the year with top fifty Beat Surrender singles and albums of 2008.

I don’t know about you but i’m getting excited about next year already, it could be a real cracker!

Happy New Year folks!
