You whisper secrets in my ear, slowly dancing cheek to cheek, it's such a sweet thing when you open up, baby.

Mungo's Hi Fi

In the pursuit of happiness and trying to broaden my horizons i've recently gone back to my parental roots and started listening to a bit of reggae, thanks to having an ace mum, it’s the stuff I grew up on, but due to wanting to distance myself from the average wigger living on an estate for the last 20 years, it's a relationship that was cut short many moons ago.

From what I can make out of the insert Mungo Hi-Fi are a DJ team that like to bring out the best at a party, and with this record they’ve managed to do just that with very large dub strains painted out over 15 tracks.

The highlights of the album are the opening track Scrubadub from the late Sugar Minott and Computer with Mr Williamz dubbing all over the place which makes it an easy record to listen to if your slowly being etched back into the scene.

The only problem with this album that slightly lets it down is each song is faded out rather then being mixed into one another, which is a shame as a lot of the beat synthesis is the same and that gets slightly monotonous the longer you listen.
