Volcanoes

Loving all things Yorshire, I can put the Volcanoes up there with Yorkshire Puddings, Look North, Brian Glover and Tetleys (smooth of course), as their latest EP hopefully will get the attention it deserves.

Yes, Temple has that feeling of the Wednesday night indie disco, shaking your stuff on the floor when there's plenty of the room. But its with What You Came For that really makes the band shine, with lead man Samson sounding like he's been part of the furniture now for years, with comparison to early Idlewild.

The EP is backed up with further goodies, Eagle Eye and Making Progress, and you really hope that the band haven't laid on all their eggs in one basket as they really have an effort with all the tracks, rather then sticking in a filler or two.
