If you believe everything you read then the single is a dying breed and the classic single even more so. Not so say I, the truth is that like all things music is changing and the way singles are released is moving with that. We now have downloads to take into account along with the more traditional formats.
We know people don’t sell as many singles as they used to do, but looking back on the list below, the single looks to be in pretty good working order if you ask me!
Strangely I don’t really care that much for Klaxons generally, Golden Skans though was a superb single that set the bar for the rest to try and beat very early in the year…and none did.
